Privacy

This notice covers Kalvo 1.0 and this website. Your entries stay on your device. Usage analytics and voluntary support requests are explained separately below.

Controller

Remo Adams-Schönfeld, Straße der Gemeinschaft 9, 55487 Sohren, Germany. Contact: hi@getkalvo.app.

Your entries

Kalvo stores the recurring bills, reserves and categories you enter locally on your device. Their contents are not sent to the developer or TelemetryDeck. Version 1.0 has no bank access, shared household feature or cross-device sync.

You can delete entries in the app. Operating-system backups are subject to your own Apple settings. Pro lets you export data as CSV; you decide where to share that file.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone. You can change notification permission and the reminder time. Kalvo does not operate its own push server for delivery.

Purchases

Apple processes Kalvo Pro as a one-time purchase. Kalvo checks purchase entitlement and can restore purchases. The developer does not receive card or bank details. Apple’s privacy information applies to Apple’s processing.

Usage analytics in the app

Kalvo uses TelemetryDeck for statistical usage analytics. It receives predefined events, such as an app launch or opening a view, along with technical SDK metadata and a hashed device identifier. Entry titles, amounts, search text and email addresses are not included.

The data is not linked to your personal identity and is not used for advertising tracking. Analytics are enabled by default; you can turn them off in Settings, Privacy. TelemetryDeck is based in Germany. Details: https://telemetrydeck.com/privacy/.

The purpose is to understand which features are used and improve Kalvo. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in improving the app under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can object by disabling analytics.

Voluntary support requests

When you send an email, the developer processes your sender address, message and any attachments to handle your request. The app’s prepared draft contains limited technical diagnostics, not the contents of your entries. You can edit it before sending.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for requests relating to the usage relationship, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for handling your request. Information is retained only as long as needed for its purpose and legal obligations. Do not send passwords or payment details.

This website

This website is hosted directly on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes technical connection data, such as IP addresses and request information, for delivery and security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: providing the website securely. Incoming support emails are forwarded to the support inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing. Service privacy information: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

The Kalvo pages load no advertising or external font scripts and set no marketing cookies themselves. Google Search Console can assess visibility in Google Search; verification does not require a Google Analytics script here. Links to the App Store, derremo.de and other external services lead to their own services and privacy notices.

Website analytics with Plausible

We use Plausible at https://plausible.derremo.xyz for usage statistics. It measures pageviews, referral sources, device information, scroll depth, engagement time, and clicks on external links and downloads. Plausible sets no analytics cookies and uses no persistent visitor identifiers. We add no custom user identifiers or app entry data.

The purpose is to improve the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can object through the contact above. See https://plausible.io/data-policy for how Plausible works.

Your rights

Where personal data is processed, you have statutory rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, subject to the applicable conditions. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact the controller above to exercise your rights.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority, particularly where you live, work or believe an infringement has occurred. For Rhineland-Palatinate: https://www.datenschutz.rlp.de/.
